Browser game: Pulling sticks against the computer
A small logic game in pure HTML and JavaScript. The computer plays a verified strategy, invalid moves are rejected, and the game state survives reloading the page.
Sample work (demo), not a client job. Built as a trial task with invented example data; the check figures below come from the automatic test run and are not polished.
What was built
- Game logic and interface in a single file, runs in any modern browser
- Computer moves follow a winning strategy that was compared against a Python reference
- Game state and score remain saved in the browser

How it was checked
Automatic test run on 2026-10-31, taken from the log (test data invented, figures measured):
- 21 sticks played headless: 4 invalid moves rejected, computer moves = Python reference (4k+1), state preserved after reload=True, start 21 -> computer wins, start 22 -> player wins, score after reload (1, 1), 0 JS errors, 0 deviations
Limits
What this sample does not cover, so nobody expects more:
- small logic game in pure HTML/JS (canvas/physics/multiplayer games, engines like Phaser/Unity not tested)
- game state only local in browser (localStorage) - no server save state, no cross-device leaderboard
- graphics/sound simple; gameplay and aesthetics cannot be machine-evaluated
- tested in Chromium headless; Firefox/Safari/mobile touch not tested
