Flutter: Task app with form, validation and local storage

A small app with list, form, check off, delete and local storage. Analysis without messages, unit and widget tests green, built as a web app and rendered in the browser.

Sample work (demo), not a client job. Built as a trial task with invented example data; the check figures below come from the automatic test run and are not polished.

What was built

  • Second sample app (English): field service jobs for technicians - today's list with search and status, job with checklist, new-job form with validation, summary screen; own tests, analysis without messages
  • List, form with input validation, checking off and deleting
  • Duplicate and too short titles are rejected, the list remains after restart
  • Unit and widget tests, analysis without messages
  • Countercheck: intentionally broken versions are detected

Built and rendered only as a web app. No Android or iOS package was created, nothing ran on a device or emulator; camera, GPS, push and permissions are not tested. No store publication, no signing, no connection to Firebase or a backend. State only with setState.

How it was checked

Automatic test run on 2026-11-01, taken from the log (test data invented, figures measured):

  • flutter analyze: no messages
  • flutter test: 13 tests (unit + widget) green
  • flutter build web --release: ok, main.dart.js 2388 KB
  • Chrome headless: page text ok, navigation to form ok, image 480x800, text pixels 1578, brand color 8791
  • Countercheck 3/3 broken versions detected

Limits

What this sample does not cover, so nobody expects more:

  • Flutter 3.47.9 / Dart 3.13.7 tested; only web target built and rendered in the browser (Chrome headless); Android APK/AAB and iOS IPA not built (no Android SDK/Android Studio, no Mac/Xcode) ...
  • no run on real device or emulator: touch gestures, keyboard, camera, GPS, push, sensors, platform-specific code (Kotlin/Swift, Method Channels), permissions not tested
  • no store publication (Google Play, App Store), no signing/certificates/bundle IDs; Firebase, backend/REST connection, login, in-app purchases, payments not tested
  • storage only local (shared_preferences); state management only with setState, no Provider/Riverpod/Bloc; integration tests (integration_test) and golden tests not part of the sample
  • web rendering with software graphics; performance, loading time, accessibility and other browsers (Safari, Firefox) not measured; packages from pub.dev other than shared_preferences not tested
