Vectorize logo: convert pixel image to SVG and PDF
Two sample logos, one as a blurry JPEG, one as a PNG with transparency, rebuilt as vectors. Measured by congruence, edge sharpness, and brand color fidelity.
Sample work (demo), not a client job. Built as a trial task with invented example data; the check figures below come from the automatic test run and are not polished.
What was built
- Left the pixel image, right the vector: same shape, sharp edges in any size
- Brand colors as exact HEX values, with color list to pass on
- Holes in letters remain open, transparency is preserved
- Delivery as SVG, PDF, and PNG in multiple sizes

Both logos are proprietary test logos, not a third-party brand. Intended for flat logos with few colors; gradients, shadows, and photos are simplified into flat shapes. Text becomes paths, no font file is created. No AI or EPS file, but SVG and PDF can be opened in Illustrator, Inkscape, and Affinity.
How it was checked
Automatic test run on 2026-11-01, taken from the log (test data invented, figures measured):
- 2 logos (JPEG q60 200px, PNG alpha) vectorized: IoU min A 0.981 B 0.9821, edge 0.48/0.38 px at 2048, colors 3+3 HEX deviation max 1, SVG 6650/17398 B, holes 11+5, upscaling fails
Limits
What this sample does not cover, so nobody expects more:
- flat logos with few colors (here up to 8 colors); photos, gradients, shadows, and textures are not exactly recreated, but simplified into flat shapes
- text is converted to paths (no font file); we only recognize the font if the client names it
- very small or blurry source files (below approx. 100 px, heavy blur) require visual inspection and possibly a follow-up question
- no AI/EPS file in the toolset of this sample: delivery as SVG and PDF (Illustrator/Inkscape/Affinity open both)
- fidelity measured against a clean master image; with real client files there is no master - visual comparison used instead
