WooCommerce price list as PDF: every customer gets their own prices
For a fictional tool shop: logged-in customers download their price list as a PDF, dealers see their dealer prices, end customers see the regular ones. The PDF is created without a third-party library.
Sample work (demo), not a client job. Built as a trial task with invented example data; the check figures below come from the automatic test run and are not polished.
What was built
- The prices come from the shop itself: every group price plugin works without a dedicated connection
- Multi-page with page numbers, umlauts and euro signs correct, drafts do not appear
- Only logged-in customers with a valid link receive a PDF; the shop can also generate it itself
- Products, prices and shop are fictional

How it was checked
Automatic test run on 2026-10-31, taken from the log (test data invented, figures measured):
- WooCommerce 11.2.1 local, custom plugin GL price list (PDF without third-party library, prices as WooCommerce shows them to the customer)
- 21/21 tests green with pypdf (customer and dealer each have their own prices accurate to the cent, 60 items multi-page, umlauts, draft missing)
Limits
What this sample does not cover, so nobody expects more:
- local copy with SQLite instead of MySQL and php -S - verify on the customer's staging copy
- group prices come from the price that WooCommerce shows to the customer; tested with one price filter per role, not with B2BKing/Wholesale Suite itself
- simple products; variable products appear with their displayed 'from' price, not per variant
- font Helvetica (standard PDF font, Western European character set) - no logo, no custom fonts
- taxes off: gross/net labeling per customer group not part of the test
