WordPress Plugin: Inquiry Form with Admin List and CSV Export
A custom plugin with shortcode, dedicated table, settings page, and export. Security checks such as nonces, sanitization, and escaping were tested on a fresh WordPress installation.
Sample work (demo), not a client job. Built as a trial task with invented example data; the check figures below come from the automatic test run and are not polished.
What was built
- Form via shortcode, entries stored in a dedicated table
- Settings page and list in the admin area
- CSV export for administrators only, formulas in cells neutralized
How it was checked
Automatic test run on 2026-10-31, taken from the log (test data invented, figures measured):
- Custom plugin GL Inquiries (shortcode, table, settings page, admin list, CSV) installed as a ZIP on WordPress 7.1.3
- 14/14 checks passed (nonce, validation, sanitization/escaping, CSV for admin only, formula injection neutralized)
Limits
What this sample does not cover, so nobody expects more:
- local copy using SQLite instead of MySQL and php -S instead of Apache/nginx; dbDelta SQL uses MySQL syntax and runs on MySQL/MariaDB for the client, translated here by the SQLite translator
- one form/table/CSV plugin checked; Gutenberg blocks (React/JS build) and page builder modules (Elementor, Divi) are not part of the sample
- no spam protection beyond nonces (no captcha/honeypot service integrated); mail delivery not tested (no mail server available locally)
- no submission to the wordpress.org directory (review, SVN) - delivered to the client as a ZIP
